Hello and welcome.
Over the next three months I will be working with an up and coming artist, introducing Emma Mae. Emma is a singer songwriter from Leicester studying popular and commercial music at the University of South Wales.
Emma has been described as “a prolific songwriter” who can write in multiple styles and genres from bond theme tunes to summer anthems to story telling emotional experiences.
Therefore the creative journey myself and Emma are about to experience will involve working with multiple creative industries and implementing marketing theories like Hofackners 5 stages of information processing through a series of digital media posts on multiple platforms.
Hofackners 5 stages of information processing involve the following...
Exposure, attention, comprehension and perception, acceptance and retention.
Therefore this blog is a part of the first step, exposure. The more people who enjoy this and begin to share the word, or from this begin to follow Emma on social media the larger the initial exposure will be before the main bulk of digital media is released and then hopefully, with your help, will gain more attention (stage two).
The creative brief for this project includes the mass release of professional photography shoots, music video, filmed interview and moving graphics. With each of the media releases come back to this site to find out how and why they came to be so that you can learn how to recreate this for yourself or for someone else. See where we made mistakes and overcame challenges and obstacles and the joining of multiple creative industries. Therefore to bring this to life we need your help, we are looking to do photo shoots, videos and all things creative therefore if you fancy getting involved please get in contact, want to design costumes for a video?
